Christ was born not only to save the Jews, but all the nations, in other words, us. The mystery of the Incarnation was first revealed only to Mary and then Joseph. At Christ’s birth it was revealed to the Jews (represented by the shepherds), and now the message of God’s love is spread to all the nations, represented by the three kings.
