Welcome to Day 18 of the Spiritual Exercises. In today’s contemplation we consider another scene from St. Luke’s Gospel, the Visitation. Having just conceived the Word made Flesh in her womb, our blessed Mother goes forth to see her cousin Elizabeth.

A key element of the Spiritual Exercises is the dialogue between the director of the Exercises, and the retreatant (you). This dialogue should consist of but not limited to:

Guidance regarding spiritual, practical, or
Religious experiences throughout the exercises (what God moves you to understand)
Difficulties & Temptations
Not understanding an exercise
Significant decisions
